Directions for using PRO-TEK CLEANER
Mix with water using these dilutions

2 to 1	2 oz water to 1 oz Pro-Tek
5 to 1	5 oz water to 1 oz Pro-Tek
10 to 1	10 oz water to 1 oz Pro-Tek
20 to 1	20 oz water to 1 oz Pro-Tek
30 to 1	30 oz water to 1 oz Pro-Tek
50 to 1	50 oz water to 1 oz Pro-Tek
120 to 1	120 oz water to 1 oz Pro-Tek

Fungus
- Artillery Fungus Cleaning - The black tar-like substance produced by the spores of this fungus have been giving East Coast homeowners trouble for years.

- We suggest a 20-1 ratio, tested in an inconspicuous area, and increasing ratio as necessary. (Never use full strength without testing)

Kitchen
- Ovens, Stoves & Grills - Use 2-1 strength, heat until warm to touch. Apply Pro-Tek moderately. Heat to 110° for 5 minutes, then wipe thoroughly, using a damp cloth.

Bathroom / Hard Water
- Lime, Calcium, Rust, Showers, Sinks and Tile Grout - To eliminate the build-up of soap scum, body oils and sludges, use Pro-Tek 5-1 strength. Wait 5 minutes, then wipe clean. Pro-Tek Cleaner works great on lime, calcium and rust deposits, windows, sinks and tubs. Use 5-1 dilution and a non-abrasive scrub pad for Tile and Stucco.

Indoor Hints
- Glass - For large areas, such as plate glass, large mirrors, etc., use 120-1 strength. Apply to surface with spray bottle, damp sponge or cloth. Buff dry with clean, dry cloth or squeegee.

- Carpet and Fabric Upholstery To remove spots and stains apply Pro-Tek with soft bristle brush. After loosening soil, wipe soil and remove excess moisture from area with clean terry cloth towel.

- Pro-Tek may be diluted in warm water for use in shampoo machines to clean or shampoo larger areas of carpeting and upholstery. Start with a mixture of 30 parts water to 1 part Pro-Tek, thereafter use stronger or weaker mixtures as needed or desired.

- Heat Transfer - on heavily soiled or stained carpets such as red Kool Aid, wine, grape juice, soak area with 3 to 1 dilution, cover with terry cloth towel, heat iron to setting 5 or the wool setting and apply gently for 30 seconds until stain goes into towel (be careful not to burn carpet. Check stain and towel - reapply if necessary.

Outdoor Hints
- Steel, Aluminum and Chrome - Pro-Tek is an excellent cleaner of all metal products. NOTE: for porous and textured surfaces, use a brush or scouring pad for problem areas. (Except a possible discoloration of plated brass items.)

- Drive Way and Concrete - Pro-Tek is an excellent cleaner of concrete, rock and brick. Use 5-1 dilution and wire brush. For new concrete use 5-1 dilution and brass brush.

- Wood Fences and Wood Deck - Pro-Tek Cleaner is the best cleaner for oxidation & hard water stains for wood fences and decks on the market today. It is super strong and still gentle enough not to strip the wood. Dilute Pro-Tek 10-1, spray on area, scrub with nylon bristle brush. Pro-Tek Cleaner diluted 10-1 works great on Teak wood & plain wood trim on boats. Scrub with nylon bristle brush, wipe off and treat with wood polish. It will look like new! Works very well in power washer equipment.

Auto/Boat Hints
- Auto Interior - Dilute Pro-Tek for general purpose cleaning (5-1), vacuum entire area to be cleaned. Spray Pro-Tek on surface allowing to stand for 30 seconds, then wipe or pat dry with a clean cloth. Repeat when necessary for problem stains.

Ink and Dye Hints
- Pro-Tek - Cleaner is the best ink & dye remover on the market. Mix bottle 3-1, spray on stain and agitate area. Press out with clean terry cloth towel. Beware that heavy ink stains & dye will bleed and stain will become lighter but bigger. Heavy stains will require multiple applications.

Suggestion: After breaking up stain, use a steam cleaner with 30-1 Pro-Tek dilution.

A Guide To Effective Cleaning
- Directions - Start with recommended dilutions. You may find it necessary to use more or less cleaner to adjust to varying cleaning problems and hard or soft water conditions. Pro-Tek will leave no film or residue when properly mixed.

- Dilution Hints - Always mix cleaner with water. Never use straight. Pro-Tek is a greenish-yellow color that when diluted properly should appear almost clear. If cleaner leaves a slight tint, clean again with plain water.
